
I’m told constantly “I’m so stressed out, I can’t sleep, focus and even think about making life style changes” and I can totally relate. I have suffered stress more times than I can poke a stick at thought-out my life and once it made me so sick I nearly ended up in hospital. How can anyone even think about blending up a smoothie when they are in that state?!

I do reckon some people do well on a vegan diet, but I personally need meat. Tried the total raw business and found I was eating loads of stout, or sugar from fruit. There was very small balance in the diet and I felt out of balance.. only after adding back protein did I start feeling much better.
Vegan’s need protein too! Our brain and muscles need it and we need protein to sleep. I’m glad you’ve found balance.

Thanks Jodi! These facts are a great reminder to make sure I stay hydrated during the day. Whether it be whilst I’m out on he road with work or before & after fitness training, staying hydrated just has to be an essential part of my day.
